Domestic Hot water /Water Heaters
Province Lane, Barrington, NH
Tankless water heater upgrade to Weil-McLain indirect 60 gal. with Sparco mixing valve. Multiple same time showers are now possible without running out of hot water.
Fourth Street, Dover, NH
LP water heater. Chimney was blocked due to poor chimney liner installation. The basement each time the water heater was fired, filled w/ flue gas and combustion prdoducts. Solution…To reduce the high chance of CO poisoning, CPHH removed the old and now damaged water heater and installed a new side wall power vented unit that did not need a chimney.

Growing household of 4 young children was consistently running out of hot water with 40 gal. electric; Solution… Added 40 gal. Superstor indirect water heater as a sep. zone off boiler to give consistent hot water faster recovery and save money on the energy bill.

Tankless domestic hot water coil was losing significant performance, longer showers and multiple hot water draws were not possible. Solution… Coil flushed out with hydrocloric acid and water wash. The coil was returned to the original hot water output. This was an economic alternative to replacing/abandoning the unit.

Had huge hot water demand filling 2 – 3 whirlpools at a time. Solution… Added booster 50 gal. with bronze circ. to indirect/gas system a head start and allow for all units to be utilizing the hot water simultaneously.

Older leaky boiler with electric hot water replaced with new Smith boiler and tankless water heater.
Lafayette St., Rochester,NH
Boiler has dry fired due to system neglect and low water cut off malfunction. New boiler was installed with Probe type LWCO to reduce maintenance and prevent another malfunction.
Hill Street, Dover, NH
Coal fired steamer converted to oil, then to new Smith gas fired boiler; eliminated banging and water hammer. Reduced gas consumption by 30% in the first year.
Grove st.- Dover, NH
Customer complained of water hammer, poor balance of steam heat and a radiator that just plain would not heat up. I balanced the system w/ new radiator vents, replaced new/ missing main vents that had broken or seized. Also insulated the steam piping that was heating poorly and flushed out the system of contaminants.
